How come whenever I use homebrew that uses firmware wifi settings, it just doesnt work?

How come whenever I use homebrew that uses firmware wifi settings, it just doesnt work?

i too would like to ask that question. as blunt and simplistic it is, i cant get any wifi homebrew to work. i have tried everything i know and everything ive heard. i have disabled all security, made sure i can connect with a game, entered my wifi settings manually, made sure there is an SSID being sent out and still nothing :(

the one thing that i was most looking forward to was beup but i just cant get it to work

same here, my mario kart that I bought works fine and all otherr games don't do you have to flash your ds to play wifi?

no you dont have to flash your DS, its supposed to just work, my backup games work fine with wi-fi.

This thread helped me out (I asked the same question). When you enter settings maunally, make sure you do everything manually. Just a thought...
