Gawd (http://forums.ps2dev.org/viewtopic.php?t=6383&sid=5b32b3fb2755efdea4443b0b83425808) posted this news:

Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to release neither the binaries or the sources for this project.

So, the only thing I can do, is use my unlimited bragging rights. The game is almost completable (one logic bug left,) and the 16bit sound samples are faulty (but you cant see that from the pictures ;)

This is, of course, my unofficial version. I coded it myself, and it has absolutely nothing to do with Magic Productions.

No way!!! lol we have some seriously talented people here. I loved Out of this World which this game is not based on, nor resembles, which I only mentioned because the earth was in alignment with a certain star and felt like mentioning this game. -_^

sarcasm never works on the web :)

I loved this game and flashback, they were both amazing games for their time. I tried them on the PSP thru the amiga emulator, but it was way too slow to play. a true PSP version would be sweet as.

So he can play it himself and brag :)

Iv ported it to the ds as well and am under the same restrictions. Its a port of my dreamcast version that did receive permission for release and includes the commercial games files.

That game must be allowed to be distributed. I would love to play that classic on the PSP without any emulation involved.

This item has been ripped directly from another web pages forums with no reference to that web site.

Isn't this the sort of thing that is constantly being complained about other sites doing?

Anyway, pity this can't be released. Played this on the Amiga (Was called Another World in some countries and Out of this World in others in typical marketing style). The motion captured animation was cutting edge for its day and was great fun to play.

Cool....loved another world on Amiga. It used to be the game that I'd show off to my mates to demonstrate the power of the Amiga 500!. Those were the days....

For those of us that have the raw 0.11 sources, can you list the changes or give a diff to your PSP version?

Unless it's a straight recompile. :)

Pictures + no binaries = Fake

I'd like to thank psdonkey for making the community so jaded towards these types of newsposts.

As somebody mentioned above, it runs perfectly through the Atari St emulator...Really worth trying out...

The original developer released a hi-res expanded version for windows XP - I had to get it and it's nice.

Yeah, I played it back in the Amiga days too. Played it, but to this day, never finished it.
