We've seen some clever things done on jailbroken iPhones in our time, but this takes the biscuit. Someone's managed to get the Android OS running on an iPhone:

It appears to be an original iPhone, since the developer responsible writes that "It should be pretty simple to port forward to the iPhone 3G. The 3GS will take more work."
He also has plenty of ambition:
"Hopefully with all this groundwork laid out, we can make Android a real alternative or supplement for iPhone users. Maybe we can finally get Flash. ;)"

Why would anyone want to do this when they could just churn to a proper Android handset? Er...

Thats really sweet if you can get it to work for Ipod Touch 2ndGen That'd be even better and flash I can hardly wait.

Interesting but i'd prefer the other way around because i really don't like the iPhone hardware because basic hardware specs are too low, but get that mountain of iPhone apps running on Android and you could have the perfect phone without those greedy restrictions Apple puts on theirs.
