Hi there i am new to th ds,just bought mine this weekend its the older version not the lite version.

Ok i want to play emu games and homebrew games on it and was wondering what bits i will need to do this? Also i read up alot that u have to flash the nintendo ds's firmware is that true or can u use something that just bypasses it with out flashing it?

I am looking forward to your answers =).

There are things called NoPasses, such as the Passcard 3rd generation(what I use because I don't want to flash.). The M3 is your best bet. At least in my eyes. Great GBA and NDS support, fun stuff. Go with whatever you want. If you have a Compact Flash Card, go with M3 CF. Secure Digital card? M3 SD. Mini SD? M3 Mini SD.

Good luck.
