The BlackBerry Leaks website is reporting that RIM is working on a tablet that will be smaller and thinner than the iPad. The tablet also goes by the codename: 'BlackPad' or 'Cobalt'.
The site says it will have full BlackBerry OS compatibility and functionality. It won't be finished this year though.
Much depends on the success of iPad, which is now at one milion sales. That's impressive, but new Apple devices always do well such is the devotion of fans of the brand. Doubts still linger over its long term performance.
The BlackPad is all hearsay of course, but BlackBerry Leaks has a decent track record in this regard.
