I'm able to run CS Source on a GeForce 5600LE and Intel 4, so I think you should be good.

Uhh I duobt it because games dont really run well with onboard graphics. Here is a decent card that is only $50 (make sure you have pci-express not agp)

It should run most the games at decent frame rates.

Your proccessor is good, you wont have any problems with that. Do you only have 256 mb of ram? If so i would suggest picking up another 256 stick or your game will lag.

The geforce 6600 is scraping the "low-end" title right now.

if you have PCI-E I would suggest even higher, if you don't then don't waist your money on a new AGP videocard, save some up for PCI-E based PC... I would also suggest, if you plan on buying a new PC, that you get it custom made. Most retail PCs(such as Dell and etc.) barge their own crap programs into your system that slows CPU performance and are normally very troublesome to uninstall. Also, if you plan on a custom made one, make sure you know what you or the person helping is doing. Processors can be especially troublesome if you never have put them in before. Get someone that knows computer specifications as well and the newest in technology, such as quad-sli and the new dual core intel processors.

256mb ram is a no no even 512mb is getting low-end. At least pick up another 256mb stick as BigMace suggested.

The ATI built in video chipsets are actually based on their current video card technology, so it is equivilant to a low end x*00 card.

He is still kinda scraping the bottom of the barrel.

The radeon xpress 200 is a PCI-E card. Where does he say that it is an onboard card? I still think it should run it fine, but then I'm not a Radeon person.

no its not its a motherboard chipset here is the link:

to run newer games you are going to need a dedicated video card. I would suggest building a new pc like lotus said. I built my own for $300 bucks a few months ago, its not a beast but it runs doom 3 great. I am planning on building an AMD am2 dual core system when i get some money. I did some research and I can get a 2.0 ghz dual core cpu, 1 gig 8pc 5200 ram, a Decent video card, a decent mobo, and a 250 gb sata 2 hdd for $550, I just have to reuse my case and my dvd drives.

Okay all onboard cards suck from what i hear. If this X200 is anything like the x700 it should run but not that great. Radeons are horrible cards. Get a card that runs off of power or you will tend to see more crashes as its running off little computer energy.

Oh, "has PCI-Express capability," my bad.

My old computer with a socket A semperon 2800+, 512 RAM, and a XFX Geforce FX 5100 could run CSS at 1280x800 at med-high settings and get 40-60 FPS. Basically any POS can run CSS, its an old game now.
