God of war stopped playing

I rented God of War 3 from my library and the game would not get past the Sony Entertainment Presents so I take it back and get another copy and it's worked fine I am really enjoying the game got to the Poseidon level then today it happened again with this new game Sony Entertainment Presents comes up then nothing its just black :/ I tried another game and that works fine so idk I am so peed off I was really enjoying the game.

Anyone know what he problem could be.
