Valve's Gabe Newell has given his perspective on PS3 in a new, hour-long video interview, which you can watch right here.
The Valve boss - who has made some close-to-the-bone comments about Sony's system in the past - told 5BY5 that the PS3 needs to become "open like a Mac" rather than "more closed like a Gamecube".
EA boss David Demartini told CVG last week that developing the PS3 version of Valve's The Orange Box was a "challenge situation" for the publisher.
