Treyarch's Josh Olin has said that Call of Duty: Black Ops is "ratcheting up the bar one step further" over previous CoD games, and that this year's effort will "exceed expectations".

Speaking with MCV, Olin said: "Modern Warfare 2 is an extremely successful entertainment launch, record selling, which is absolutely phenomenal.

"Every Call of Duty game has ratcheted the bar up for the next one, and we're just ratcheting up the bar one step further. I think Black Ops is going to exceed expectations. This game is going to be huge," he added, saying that Black Ops is "the best work we've ever done".

Treyarch head Mark Lamia recently told OXM the studio has "taken some creative risks" with Black Ops. We'll see if they pay off...

I'm not buying any more call of duty games. they've turned to glorifying state sponsored terrorism in modern warfare 2. Black ops is indeed a step further. Stay far away from treasonous black ops. Not only do black ops cause blowback on our economy and people, but the notion of hurting other people for a greater good, is quite crazy.

Congrats EA, you've got yourselves an army of slaves that have no moral compass. Go back to making art, like dead space, the only good game you ever made, and it wasnt that good.
