lol - i didnt realise this was "news" !

For some reason when I posted it the first time with the 6.0 release here it never went on the main page. So I figured I would try again! :)

Any genre of music will work for us, we like it all!

The best advice I can give someone who is new to making music is to try to emulate a song or style you really like. First make sure you set the tempo to match the style or genre and then work out a beat. Then add a bass line and some lead sounds.

There are some tutorials on our site to help you get started. (they were written for ver 5.0, but the principles still apply)

Most of all experiment! some times you can get some really crazy sounds out of it!

Any chance of there ever being a "psp melody"? Like a synthesizer to play in different voices, ect?

have you tried rhythm out?

sounds like exactly that.

the program imports wav samples which uou can pitch up/down and place on a sequence.... it also has an inbuilt bassline synthesiser of its own.

i'm not quite sure what this hypothetical "melody" would do that rhythm doesnt already?
