SEGA has announced that PS3 exclusive Yakuza 4 is heading to "the West" in spring 2011.
The news comes via the SEGA Europe blog (http://blogs.sega.com/europe/2010/06/08/iamkazuma/) (thanks VG247 (http://www.vg247.com/2010/06/08/yakuza-4-coming-west-next-spring/)).
We reviewed Yakuza 4 on Japanese import earlier this year, handing it 8/10 and hailing it as a "fascinating cultural artefact".
"Yakuza 3's eventual release gives hope that this series may yet enjoy a bright future on these shores, too," reviewer Keza MacDonald noted, in reference to the release earlier this year of Yakuza 3 in the West.
The fourth game introduces new locations and three new protagonists alongside main dude Kazuma Kiryu.
