Sony has revealed the UK pricing plan for its new premium iteration of PSN, PlayStation Plus.
PS3 owners will have to pay £39.99 for a 12-month subscription, or £11.99 for 90 days, according to Videogamer.com.
Sony claims that full-year subscribers will receive approximately £200 worth of free and exclusive content, while those who only sign up for three months will receive £50 worth.
The service will launch on June 29th. The UK prices are roughly the same as the European ones, announced earlier today.

£11.99 for 90 days is good, because you only save £7.97 with the full year.

But something I'm not too sure about:

Subscriptions are free for the first three months and all content downloaded are owned by consumers as long as they maintain their subscription. (http://www.mcvuk.com/news/39594/SONY-PlayStation-Plus-announced)

I'm hoping that just because I wish not to renew my subscription after 3-12 months, that I wont lose the ability to play the titles I've downloaded. Maybe it's only for the people who don't go past the free months and those who continue with a paid subscription keep the titles even after it ends?
