Hello i've seen a lot of people that are worried about having a stuck pixel in his secreen so i've doing this application for serveral days and now i've finished it. I'm sure someone would find very usefull.

I'm called it SRS (Screen Repair Set) it is because it is a set of 3 aplications in one.

I was hoping you weren't gonna say that!! I was hoping you hadn't found the joys of downgrading yet!

BTW- this is the best DPF so far!

It's just a video, isn't it? If so... could not it be released as standalone movie so even those that are not capable of running homebrew could run it? >.<

Doh, got really hopeful with all the peeps saying how great this app is.

got 1 dead pixel that just won't come alive again. tried all the apps.

It's true there are 'dead' pixels' which can't be activated and 'stuck pixels' which can right?

OMG I ran this program overnight and had to get a new PSP because my old one BLEW UP!!!

Man this program made my room-mate go mad with epilepsy as he knocked over a half bottle of Grey Goose, which shattered on the floor. Next a mouse came and was sipping on the splattered Vodka. The drunk mouse was hobbling back to his hole in the wall and bumped hard into the leg of my night stand which tipped over a CD Case (no worries though, it was all 80's music that I backed up on iTunes). Well the CD's scattered all over the floor one case broke open allowing a single Madonna disc to role right between a crack in my hard wood floor, which then the razor thin CD, sharpened by my broken CD player which has a piece of metal sticking inside it, sliced thru one of my natural gas lines emitting explosive vapors over the vodka getting my epileptic room-mate high with fumes as I walked out of my room lighting a cigarette.

The moral of this experience … Quit smoking while you still can …

JK I ran this program for over an hour before I realized that my screen turns off after like 3 minutes lol. If you are planning to run this for a long time, just remember to monitor your PSP every so often and press a key so it does not dim/turn off the screen. So far 2 of my 3 dead pixels are fixed. Kudos and thank you for this WONDERFUL program.

instead of pressing a button every 2 minutes, you could just trun off the auto off setting ;)
btw, this app seems to work, i'll have to try it :)

stuck pixels are just mis aligned and produce a different colour to those around them. they can be fixed back to normal.

Dead pixels are malfunctioned and look dark continually. As the term suggests, they cannot be brought back to life.

2 dead pixels, 7 hours later, still 2 dead pixels :(

Video_freak

kando
August 11th, 2006, 18:59

Video_freak
August 11th, 2006, 19:00
do they EVER change? if they do then they just get "stuck", so theyre fixable ;)

SRS is a cool name, but they should rename the program to CPR.

"Pixels about to die? Give it some CPR (Color Pixel Repair)."

Damn I am sooo clever, I should be in marketing! Bwahahahahahaha

Video_freak
August 11th, 2006, 19:35
ya, you should patent the name and sell it to him :p

Hmm.. I'll see if this works.. I have a stuck pixel, it's been there for ages. I tried the "Stuck pixel cleaner" in PSPset a long time ago, left that going over night, didn't fix it.. Hope this works.

This app works, but for me it only repaired half of my dim pixels (dead zones of pixels due to not using them). I got these dead zones from watching movies on my PSP for long periods and not playing games. These 'dim areas' were at the bottom of my screen where the black borders were in the video. This app repaired half of them, and produced 'scan lines' in the dimmed areas. I think its because of interlacing. Has anyone here found something that fixed all their dim areas?
