A new rather smart looking External Battery for the DS Lite has been revealed, no details on what charge it will bring etc but check out the screen via comments.

you cant yet. its just been revealed. we dont even know how much its going to cost or anything yet

Yea ive played a DS lite constanty on a 14 hour bus trip and was still not going dead the day after i got home

That wouldn't have been with the wifi running though just normal gaming. Its not a bad idea really if you use the wifi on the device a lot.

wow thats huge. i dont think the DS Phat gets quite that much (maybe 10 hours)

i have not timed it, but no way i get close to 15 hours. wifi seems to eat it up a little faster, i use it on the lowest setting bright. Maybe it is the M3 adapter i have, does this thing consume more juice from the battery aswell?

wifi should eat it up faster. its like half the time on the ds with wifi on :eek: (because the antena is so big)

Its because the DSL battery is a bigger capacity battery.

My old silver DS, with M3 on, gives me about 6 hours of DS gameplay - I get about 10 hours if in GBA mode, though. As I only own Metroid demo as real DS cartridge, I can't tell about pure DS battery life... but I've alwayss had this impression that any gba flash device/memory card adaptor eats more power.

..Or is it just time for a replacement battery?
