i bought a dreamcast from america to australia, as stupid as i am i put it in without a voltage converter and boom one of those liquid tubes on the motherboard opened slightly and now it overheats quickly like 10 mins into gameplay i bought the voltage transformer and it worked well like for a long time but im concerned about the open tube and now it wont display on the screen and is just black, is there a solution on how to fix this tube or replace it? any repair shops that still repair dreamcasts? sorry if this is in the wrong thread im new here and i just wanted to know if anyone could help cause i love the dreamcast and really wanna play asap. Much appreciated if you could help me

Moved to the Dreamcast Help forum.

Basically, it'll probably be just as cheap to replace the whole console as it would be to replace whatever part of the console has the leaking capacitor. In all honesty, you can probably find a Dreamcast dirt cheap if you look (the last one I bought cost me a grand total of US$5, and came with two controllers, a memory card, and a game).
