Here is yet another, slightly better than previous, video of "MAP THIS!" GPS viewer in action:

Actually, this shows a replay of a GPS data, captured on one of my field trials. This was done in order to get steady shot and good focus. Of course, it looks exacly the same with "life" GPS feed.
The clip shows the difference between "NORTH UP" and "TRACK UP" modes and the use of "zoom" functionality.

Looks great Deniska. I get paid on Monday. =) I'm looking forward to building one of these!

EDIT:

You know, I just thought this morning that it would be great to be able to track your path. Maybe have a blue line follow your cursor along your plotted GPS points. Then be able to save that route.

Since you are replaying a saved route, this would probably only take a couple of minutes of work, and would allow people to make routes of places they've already been.

Great if you're new to an area and want to get back to some place you've been before. Also good for figuring out where the hell you are when you're good and drunk. =)
