View Full Version : Kinect release date confirmed for UK and Europe

Microsoft has officially announced at the Gamescom event that their new motion sensing hardware Kinect will make its debut in the UK and Europe on November 10th. It'll come bundled with the new 4GB Xbox 360 that'll be around £250. It will also be available to buy on its own for £130.

It just isn't going to happen though, is it? Far too expensive for a webcam with a 320x240 infrared camera tacked on.

MS seems to have this misguided view that they can attract a similar userbase as Apple has who blindly buy anything at any price with an Apple logo on it. Just because they finaly did a decent job on Windows 7 doesn't erase the memory of their forced greed, which is different to Apple because people want to buy from them.
