News via PSP3D (http://psp3d.com/homepage-news/10860-spiceboy-gb-gbc-emulator-r2-released.html)

Arguru and Robert A. have just released a new version of the SpiceBoy GameBoy/GameBoy Color homebrew emulator for PSP. The emulator offers full speed FPS emulation of all GB/GBC ROMs, based off of some code from InfoBOY, a Win32 GB/GBC emulator, but mostly handcoded, offering emulation as well as Homer's RIN (considering it's the second release, R2 (Release 2), updated in under a day). This brings the entire project's code time to be under 2 days, in fact, only a few hours, as the new update only took an hour to fix! Great work, talk about fast coding!

New features/fixes in SpiceBoy R2 include:
- Major GameBoy Color ROM color glitch fixed.
- Basic ROM browser added.
- Some fixing of audio glitches.

Bug:
If you change the folder names to "__SCE__Spiceboy" and "%__SCE__Spiceboy" to hide the corrupt icon, then the emulator doesn't find the ROMs you place inside the ROMs folder.

Yeh this works really well, I dont like using Homers Rin because the program keeps confusing itself with the rom browser I hate it...

...This however is brilliant, I give it a top mark for GBC emualtion.

Its wierd why so many people have moaned that this is in production because this is like the most basic and easy to use GBC emulator around now...

Doesn't hurt to have more than 1 emulator. It promotes competition and in the end it's the consumer that wins.

its fine for all the games i've tried, (still not many) but i cant get any sound out of nanoloop or LSDJ, and after that no sound out of any roms.

The day after it will probably have some other cool feature, like cheats, or GBA support...
But anyway, this is going so good so fast... i'm downloading this right now!

Hopefully the next release will have an aspect ratio selector. It's so wiiiiiiiiide. ;-)

Too bad I played the Zelda Oracle games recently with RIN. There's not much else that good! ;-)

Yes, that would help playing in 4:3 or something.

The gb version of Mr Do! doesn't work, not the 100% compatibilty that is claimed.

Shame as it's a great version of the classic.

i don't think this has save support yet, unless it's within the game(meaning u have to save like it was an actual GB/GBC)

dont waste your time with this release unless you enjoy no saves & slowdowns with multiple sprites on the screen

i didnt even see a menu

Is there a way to make it so the game doesn't play in full screen?

And, to tell you all the truth, the only thing that makes this better than the gnuboy thing, is that this has sound.

Why the hell are you still using a gta loader, downgrade... and for gbc I would recommend Rin
