Do Rom translations of japanese games?

to make the text japanese to english???

No, you would need to recode the ROM. You can probably find the US version, unless it was a JAP only game...

No thats not true. It is possible but it depends on what game and what system. Because i have seen rom text translations for SNES. So it is possible without having to rewrite the entire game. But it takes alot of work and most of the time it really isn't worth the time and effort needed to do it. Better off learning japanese. lol

Yea I've used a translation for Radical Dreamers on SNES, and i loved that game, but for the DS your probably are better off learning japanese lol

There's a translation for Jump Super Stars being made now.

Yes there are ways to translate roms text but you will have to mess with the code.

I know there was an attempt to translate Samurai Spirits RPG for neocd,but the translaters gave up halfway through.I really wish they hadn't,this game is phenominal!!!

I would imagine that game will be released in the US. Just wait until then if you can't translate.

From what http://www.gamefaqs.com/portable/ds/data/925355.html has on there site theres NO U.S Release date as of this year !

well, 2007 isn't too far away. it may even end up in the usual batch of march releases.
