Despite the clones significantly less expensive and alternatives , PS jailbreak developers do not seem to give up and expect to sell their product .

However, the date of delivery to dealers , already delayed several days ( originally scheduled on August 27 and on 30/31 August) will be further amended, as an authorized dealer , with delivery expected this time between 7 and 10 September.

The reason for this further delay would be a modification of the modchip to respond to the request of Sony but also an update to make it more difficult to copy the chip , thereby limiting the clones .

Also note that the retailer in question, who wishes to remain anonymous , said he now apply a cancellation fee of around 10% , probably to limit the damage created by commercial clones and standard solutions PSFreedom or PSGroove .

Thats if Sony doesnt stop the sellling if it altogether

Unless you feel like you owe them something for what they've done why would anyone buy this now? They'd have to knock at least $100 off that $130 price tag to convince people to buy when they know they can do it for free. I think the piracy statistics shows this won't happen.
