Chain of Memories: Works- Unzip file, Save (state) right before opening sequence starts freezing up. Load save state and it will run.

Riviera: Works- Unzip file

If both games still crash, you don't have the correct Bios (you are using the Beta bio).

Golden Sun and it's sequel have major bugs, still considered unplayable.

Where could i find the correct bios for the gpSP emulator??? could you give a link or a thread about that???

And also Castlevania is not saving whenever I try to save in the save point. And when I restart it the save dont show up.

edit:
well i have already got the updated gba.bios, and riviera now works, only Kingdom hearts crashes in the ingame cut scene. Maybe if i put the .sav of that game, maybe i can play past through the movie. What do you think??

Hi. Iīve tried a lot of GBA games with the emulator, and have noticed this:

- Some games donīt work if theyīre in a folder with more than 20 files.

Yeah, itīs not like discovering a cure for being a Steven Seagalīs film fan, but...

Anyway, Iīve tried these ones, and they donīt work properly, or donīt start at all. Iīve even tried unzipping them, but the problem is still there. Iīm not sure if itīs just my BIOS, or something anyone has suffered and corrected. If thatīs the case, please, any help will be welcomed. The games are:

- all bit Generations games (Japan versions)
- Bomberman Jetters Game Collection
- Danny Phantom The Ultimate Enemy
- Denki Blocks
- Desert Strike Advance
- all Classic NES Series
- Donkey Kong Country 3
- Grand Theft Auto Advance
- Guilty Gear X Advance Edition
- Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi Kaznapped
- all Hudson Best Collection
- Iridion 2
- James Pond Codename Robocod
- Juka and the Monophonic Menace
- Kim Possible 3 Team Possible
- Klonoa Heroes Legend of the Star Medal
- Mario Party Advanced
- Maya The Bee Sweet Gold
- Medal of Honor Infiltrator
- Monster House
- Sega Arcade Gallery
- Sega Smash Pack
- Shonen Jumps One Piece
- Shrek Hassle at the Castle
- Simple 2960 Vol. 2 - The Block Kuzushi
- Speedball 2
- Spider-Man 2
- Star Wars Flight Of The Falcon
- Star Wars The New Droid Army
- Sudoku Fever
- Super Mario Advance 3 Yoshis Island
- Super Mario Advance 4 - Super Mario Bros 3
- Teen Titans 2
- Teen Titans
- The Invincible Iron Man
- The King of Fighters EX2
- Ultimate Arcade Games
- Ultimate Puzzle Games
- Wario Ware Inc
- Yggdra Union Well Never Fight Alone

ĄBuff! Well, Iīll appreciate any advice and/or suggestion. Thanks in advance.

By the way, I like Seagalīs movies, just in case you wonder...

i have advance wars 2 and it worked the first time and second time perfectly, except when someone is talking the sound just goes it bit slow, but otherly, perfect! than, i had changed my memorystick 1gb>32mb to get some of my old savedata files back, than i went back to 1gb and advance wars 2 didn't load! it just went with a white screen

now for advance wars 1 - It loaded perfectly, then after starting the game after i guess, 5 times, it wouldn't load, but this was before i got advance wars 2.

with advance wars 1 during having advance wars 2, i never played it while i had #2, but wen #2 didn't load, i wanted to play #1 and that wouldn't load either.

I think gpsp had some coding bugs, not the rom

Zelda: the minish cap *always* crashes for me in the fight with the giant octorok. (In the ice-cave-place.)

It doesnt always crash at the same point, bu i've tried 10+ times and it always crashes.

...Up to then it was fine.

But I'm stupid and just read the 0.9 update and saw it's been fixed. SHAME ON ME :(

For that you gotta save when it freezes, then load. It works after that.

where can we find this games

bah

The emulator is linked to in the first post of this thread.

GBA games must be dumped from your own cart or found via your favourite search engine. You wont get any more help on where to find commercial ROMs than that here at DCEmu.

Like when the heck is gpSP 1.0 coming out? Exophase is taking forever to make it. Though I guess no one has room to complain. The compatibility for this emulator is outstanding not to mention the speed. The compatibility and speed are so well implemented that I have to find small inaccuracies in the emulation to complain about. :p Takka's version of gpSP is good and the compatibility rises, but the guy hasn't fixed some issues that have been there since Exophase's 0.9 build.

I've noticed a sound issue with FF Dawn of Souls while playing FF1. Has anyone else noticed the Rapier among other blades is sorely lacking in sound when you attack? Can barely hear it. Compared it to the real thing and of course you can hear on the GBA, but I was just wondering if anyone knows how to correct this volume problem.

Like I said before not really anything big, but it's nice to get things fixed. I'm running Dawn of Souls on UO gpSP Kai v3.2 8.6 test (not 8.7 because most RPGS seem to have this annoying line on the far right of the screen...)

Well, I know nothin' about official 1.0, but unoffical 3.3 test-2 is out and I'm just checkin' it out. And there are improvements, I must say; it's not much, but still something.

Golden Sun - for me it's workin' perfectly. No slow downs (maybe when there is too much shit on screen, but even gba couldn't handle that), no crashes (I'm on Crossbone Island now), and the sound is just perfect.

Golden Sun: The Lost Age - pain in the ass 'cause the framerates are satisfying, but the sound still sucks. Even though slow downs are rare (maybe in towns a bit) and the sound is (IMO) better than 3.3 test-1, but I'm still gonna wait a bit longer. Maybe test-3 will fulfill my dreams :]

I had that problem with Megaman Zero 2 until i went to gpSP-J. It's all in Japanese but the is nearly the same as kai or just regular gpsp.
