Who Has jailbroken their PS3, Also How ?

Heres a quick survey to find out who has jailbroken their PS3 and what method you used to actually do it.

I did it, HTC Raphael way, 3.41, installed ftp freezed alot, got tired and update it all. Now IDK until a chip or other method comes out.

I'm still in FW 3.15, don't want to lose Linux support.

I have a HTC Dream (G1), tried to jailbreak but only get a black screen.

Waiting to someone port this to older firmwares.

I've got the ps3break. The SNES emulator works surprisingly well for such an early release. Can't wait to see how the NullDC port will develop. Also hoping XBMC will be available soon.

I am starting to miss playing online so may buy another.

Fat 80gig system fw 3.41 and USB Break. works surprisingly well. Isn't worried about on line gaming so this worked out perfectly. However sucks if you want to stream movies/tv shows you have to cut off your internet.

Phat PS3 230gigHDD(40gig model), i used the Ipod nano Jailbreak :D and all is working fine :).(couldnt wait for my USB dongle to arrive XD)

I used my dingoo a320, and it was a bit of a problem for me cause i wasnt sure what my dingux was doing. It works tho. It says like incorrect path. But it still Jailbroke my ps3 and allowed me to install backup manager and snes9x. :] personally i think its a good thing.

Just did it this evening on my original japanese 20gig model using the iPod jailbreak method. The process went smoothly. Snes9x :)

g1 psfreedom .. tried both versions .. the flashable and amon ra's recovery (so much easier, and doesnt drain battery as much) .. .. snes9x every night oh yeah ..

I'm using my N810 to jb my PS3. I find it awesome, I was about to sell my N810 because I was not using it!

But can't wait for a CFW, I really don't give a shit about piracy (I have about 15 games and haven't finished them all. This on PS3, on my JTAG my 500gb hard drive is full) but homebrew does interest me a lot.

I'm not there yet, but I'm planing to buy the usb development plate I've been saying. Which is said to work with PSGroove. Main reason is the lack of money.

I'm thinking about selling my second PSP slim which I got earlier this year.

Also, anyone knows if its worth it to get a 500Gb HDD for my PS3, I'm leaning towards yes but I'm not really sure. Can I run Snes9x from the internal HDD??

Anyway I guess I'll end up doing both, selling my second slim to get the HDD and the usb plate.

edit: PS3 homebrew and media center here I come, now I just need a buyer :p

Well, I just got a Teensy 2.0 in the mail today. However, I'm going to wait a bit more...

Hopefully there'll either be a Jailbreak payload soon for 3.15 (my PS3 is still on 3.15 for OtherOS), or an OtherOS loader for 3.41. Either one would work for me, and I'd pull the trigger right away then.
