I'm feeling pretty overwhelmed by all the DS homebrew devices out there so I need some help from the pro homebrew people out there to decide whats best for me to make the most of a 100+ dollars investment.
Well I already own a PSP, so im more in the homebrew scene to play backupped DS games and not so much for the media aspect. Also, I have a 1 gig SD(not mini) memory card already.
Given all that I was considering buying a G6 Lite Combo. But the total for the combo would come out to be approximately the same as the cost for this supercard combo:
http://www.modchipman.com/super-supercard-lite-combo-1gb-memory-card-reader-superkey-p-1147.html
Then I read that the supercard has lower quality than the m3 adaptor, and that the passcard 3 is the best passme device on the market at the moment. So now i'm considering buying this combo:
http://www.modchipman.com/m3-mini-sd-1gb-mini-sd-passcard-combo-p-1064.html
So between these three, what do you think would be best for me?
G6 Lite
Pros:
Great looking menu
Menu is interactive(touch screen usage)
Can swap game saves
Multiple save files per game
Perfect DS and GBA playback
Fits Flush in DS Lite
Simple Plug and Play
Cons:
Cant dump game cards
Supposedly has a crappy gba menu
SMALL AMOUNT OF MEMORY
Price:$99.99+$29.99 = Approximately $130
SuperCard
Pros:
Everything you need to start immediately in one combo
1 gig of memory
$15 dollars off on sale
Fits flush in DS lite
Cheaper than M3
Cons:
Lower quality than M3
Not compatible with the memory card I already have
Sold out(But I can wait)
Price:$124.99
M3
Pros:
Best thing on the market for DS homebrew
$40 dollars off on sale
Passcard 3-best passme device
Highest Quality
Good amount of memory
Cons:
Very expensive
Combo does not include USB reader device
Does not fit flush in DS lite
Sold out(Doesn't really matter to me)
Price:$139.99+$9.99 for USB reader= approximately $150
So i'm just wondering which one would be the best for me. Also, is the increase in quality from Supercard to M3 worth the $25 dollars more? Sorry the post was so long and THANKS!
