Daedalus WIP News - StrmnNrmn away for a couple of days

I've made some great progress on getting the new clipping code working with the PSP's VFPU. Actually, so far I've just been working on getting various matrix/vector routines and the transform and lighting (TnL) code working with the VFPU and I'm seeing very good results so far. The TnL code is around 2-3 times as fast running through the VFPU compared to the CPU. This gives around a 0.5-1.0fps speedup in the various roms I've been testing.

Unfortunately I have to put the clipping work on hold until the end of the week as I'm heading home for a few days to see my family.

Lol, interesting pics. I think it's great how often StrmnNrmn updates his blog (and his emu:) ). The thought of smooth running N64 emulation on the PSP is absolutley mouth watering. If we had an annual psp-news vote for different catogories (Best emu, Best coder ect...) , StrmnNrmn would be nominated for alot of awards.:D
Actually, that would be great if we had an annual awards vote (or do we already?). What do you think Wrag?;)

dude, why do u have the dynamic recomp. disabled? also i use the C-buttons and D-pad option for the controller, it makes it very easy to use the c-buttons plus it feels more like the N64 controller...for me atleast

well with it enabled it went back to the rom settings screen when i fell down the hole to gohma, and i haddn't saved, i wasnt very happy at having to do all the work again
as for the controlled settings, i just use that cause im used to that set-up (its like default, but with the c down actually mapped unlike default)

now for the screens it wouldnt let me post the first time:p :D
