Raf (http://pspradio.sourceforge.net/phpBB/viewtopic.php?p=3254#3254) has informed me this morning of a new release of his excellent PSP Radio Music streaming app for the PSP, heres whats new:

0.38.12
This is a minor release in terms of added functionality. The big change is the fact that now thanks to mbf, PSPRadio runs under the devhook environment on F/W Versions 2+!

The Dynamic version includes retawq and links2 and psptris plugins.

NOTE: If a plugin stops responding, try L+R+START (should take you back to PSPRadio)

0.38.12 (r1237) (2006-08-24)
NEW FEATURES
(sandberg) Core: Implemented a direct VRAM version of Danzeff for use in Links2.
(raf) Core: Now root of /PSP/MUSIC is also used in the local files screen. (It is shown as 'MUSIC')
(mbf) Core: Patched to run under devhook

Lets see, where to start? Does this work on 2.6 using GTA and eLoader? What does it do? What are the differences between the three different options I have to download? Should I, being a 2.6 user, use DH, Static, or Dynamic? Thanks in advance to anyone who answers my questions.

I only seem to be able to listen to one shoutcast stream. That is, I can listen to a stream, but then I can not open a different stream unless I actually shut down my PSP and start all over again. I am able to move to another stream name in the menu, but it will not open. Simply restarting devhook is not enough.

Anyone else having this problem with devhook .46 and firmware 2.71? It's disappointing since I'm not able to access my wifi network under 1.5 and the problem above aside, PSPRadio rocks! :D

yeah gets hung up tryin to find a signal and get the stream.. i always have to restart the wifi- like shuffle through two settings i have, and then stop and start the attempts till i see the ip address load up and then i try to hit the refresh playlist or get latest shoutcast db and do that - if the red window pops up that means you dont have connection, if it doesnt press start and triangle to scroll through the genres and then the subgenres and then the shoutcasts choose by hitting x. when it succeeds, the play icon below will be highlighted and then,, ahh sounds.. but VERY TRICKY AND I GOTTA PLAY WIT IT ALOT TO START...

I'm on 303OE-B and i got PSPRadio running by using the "Dynamic" version and putting the folders in GAME150.

I did that and i get this error in the log:

12:12:23.191:ScreenHandler/OptionsScreen.cpp@590<20>: Start_Network(-1)
12:12:34.450:ScreenHandler/OptionsScreen.cpp@640<50>: Networking Enabled, IP='0.0.0.0'...
12:12:34.472:ScreenHandler/OptionsScreen.cpp@642<50>: Enabling Network: Done. IP='0.0.0.0'

I verified and have set up my Wifi to manual IP address. Dunno what to do.

have you tried to setup wifi with auto?

arapozo

Made a new connection and left it auto and got the same error message on the log file. Weird because on the xmb both work fine. :(

i had the same problem in 3.01-oe, and now in 3.03-oe. in pspradio settings, my wifi connection name shows as 4 scrambled ascii characters...but links2 standalone by the same people works fine.

i was going to try installing devhook to emulate fw1.50 and try again. i miss my shoutcast :(

How do you exit pspradio? The program always just hangs and I end up taking the battery out all the time when I try to exit the program? Otherwise I love this program.

You can either select 'exit pspradio' at the bottom of the options screen, or exit by hitting the home button on your psp. It has never crashed on me, but I'm running OE...
