An indefinite no. Short reason? Find me a Saturn emulator that works on a 500mhz PC then we start talking.

doesnt work on pc so..... can't port :(

not possible...

the reason is that the saturn has 2 processors, both running at 28 mhz, PSP still doesent have SNES at 0 frame skip (and thats 4 mhz peak) then again, N64 is supposed to run at 93.75 mhz.. the main problem though is how drawn out the saturn's input-output is. what with the 2 CPU's...

in short, I'd say no, the PSP cant emulate somthing this intricate... this would be more like emulating 2 PSX's at the same time.. and nobody can emulate 1 thus far...

what if someone wrote it from scratch?

Nope. It isn't a matter of porting. It the fact that the Saturn is the hardest console to emulate. They barely have a full speed emulator running at full speed on a decent spec PC.

Oh, its emulatable, just not on the PSP.

Yeah I dont think anyone would be up to the challenge to try and emulate the saturn considering that it doesnt even run well on the pc.

(then again people said that we would never even see an n64 emu run at more than 1 fps and we have some games running at 20 fps with more optimizations to come).

So I would say 99.9% sure that the saturn cannot be emulated on the psp.

Ok, I feel like I have to elaborate on this. While it is extremely possible that at one point someone will port yabause, the free and open source saturn emulator (that uses OpenGL and is written in C), and it should actually run with no problem, it will run at no more than 10fps without some insane emulation speedup tricks which might bring it to 15.
