Hi All,

Holidays ended, and it's time now to go back to school, so here is something useful to put on your PSP :)

A new release of PSPXTI the TI-92 calculator emulator !!

* First i would like to thanks my friend jer666 (http://www.design-creation.info/) for his beautiful icons and background image :). *

What's new in this version ?

- Add new beautiful icons and background designed by Jer666 !
- New user interface with menus and usefull options
- Add Help window with all PSP shortkeys
- Save configuration file option
- Screenshot image option
- PNG images instead of BMP (smaller images)
- Toogle between analog and digital pad option
- New keyboard handler and new mapping
- Bug fix (keyboard freeze etc ...)

Many TI92 stuff can be found on the following urls :
http://www.ticalc.org
http://education.ti.com

You need the rom of your TI-92 or TI-92 plus,
but it is NOT part of the PSPXTI package because it is the property of TI !

This version works with 2.xFW. and 1.5FW.

It's distributed under GNU licence and sources are included.

Enjoy, :D

Zx.

The rom you use is may be not compatible with this emulator. You need any Ti-92 roms, or TI-92 plus v1.01 (earlier versions don't work).

1.5 FW

I'm noticing if you move the button selector around fast and press X a lot, the calculator will stop taking keypad input. You have to go back to the emulator menu and then return to the calculator and it will work again.

It's no big deal, you just have to take your time inputting.

I tried the Ti92+ 1.01 and Ti92 1.01 roms and they exhibited the same behavior.

Cool work! No math classes yet, but I might use it in the future.

Ya I have tried everything and no results. And you know what is funny V1.06 actually worked on the ti92.rom that I had. When I transfered it to the new version it did not work any more. At this rate, I'm going to swtich back to the older version because I can't even get a working ti92 rom for this emulator any more. And I have already went through about 10 of them. (And yes I went to Zx-81's blog and no luck, I even reinstalled the program many times. I have no clue what is wrong. I have a 1.5 PSP, and I am using custom firmware, witht he 1.5 eboots converter to 1.0. If this leads to any problems please someone tell me.

Hi All,

Here is a minor update of PSPXTI, the TI-92 calculator emulator for PSP.

What's new in this version ?

1.0.8

- Save state is now done using zlib so ram file size is smaller and as a consequence, it is much faster to save
- Bug fix (may display stange characters in the emulator menu)

Hey zx-81 i have a problem that if i leave the emu, when i come back to the emu it just freezes(not really but i cant press any buttons in the emu) and can oly scroll around, the only way i got it to work is to not turn it off manually nor exit with the home menu but to remove the battery.

don't know if anyone else has had this problem?

If you remove the ti92.mem file it should then work fine ...
