What's the deal with Wi-Fi?

right just bought a psp, and have a couple of questions about wif-fi. Are the wifi networks up yet to play on online servers? Also i live in europe (uk) will my wireless home network be wifi compatabile with the psp? When i set up my wifi network you have to specify region location and was wondering if i will be able to play online ok?

if you get your wi-fi set up could u plz put it up on here how u did it coz i can't get mine set up. It wont let me enter the wep key

mine works fine, wep is wireless protection, you need to go into your wireless router and either diable this or find out the wep key. really isnt much need for a wep key, especially if you know your neighbours, dont use the net, or they dont live very close by.
Also when are games going to become playable online?
