If you formatted your memory stick would it be still be at 2.8?

Yes. Because when you update, you write to your PSP's internal flash NAND memory (that's what keeps the firmware). The memory stick doesn't get written to. Sorry. :(

life would be simpler if the firmware was written to the memory card :p

I can't send MSN.. proxy something needed.. Email perhaps, but no messenger.. :D hey should I start a new thread ? I think there's a devhook thread before this one we can just discuss there..
Anyway, my 2G memory stick is so crowded now (with numerous files I don't even know what's what..) So before I instal devhook I want to know some of its basic and how-to usage.. For example that wifi thing and flash games. Can I get a wall paper too ? Is it worth it to add more population in my MemStick ?
