Hey guys, I just downloaded DGen, but I can't work out how to get it running, I have all the roms. So any help installing it and running it would be great, I get the feeling I need an alternative browser to the standard PSP software

You can't talk about roms dude, but if it is help you need with Dgen whats the problem?
With regards to the browser, I don't think Dgen uses the psp browser anyway so I doubt it's to do with that.
What firmware do you have?

whats your firmeware? if its 1.5 then just take the 2 folders one with % and the other without % and drop on to the game folder and put your roms in the rom folder. if its only one folder then dl pspbrew and convert it to 1.5 then do what i said before.

im pretty sure you can talk about them, you just cant link to sites that have roms.

The rules are no roms and iso talk. No exceptions.

sorry about the r*m thing, I'm new to the forum.
It's DGen that struggling with, I can get it to open via usb connection to my pc, but not as a stand alone program on the psp. I have firmware 2.8, whatever the latest available is.

sorry but there is no homebrew on 2.8 psp yet.

Unlucky dude, you can't even use the GTA eLoader.
But ,fingers crossed, Fanjita and co. have been making huge breakthroughs with regards to downgrading so don't lose hope.

i upgraded my psp to 2.8, however I just tried to reformat it, it looks like i'm stuck on 2.8

Once you upgrade it is impossible to get back until someone brings out a downgrader.
What was the firmware before you upgraded?

I cant remember, it was given to me, I think it was purchased just before the uk release (US model), August at a guess if thats any help.

Are there any emulators out for 2.8?
