true, he said stuff about the downgrader work in progress which the developers would rather have it been kept secret to avoid the hype..

but he hasnt said anything about the topic of the thread "More details tommorrow". it would be logical to assume he is talking about more Eloader details tomorrow..

there should be i heard fanjita and some other people were working on a downgrader for 2.8 because there is no kernal on 2.8, so it is better to downgrade

there working on a n e-loader for 2.70 - 2.71 but i dont think its for 2.80 because theres no kernal access, so there going to do a downgrader for 2.80 instead. well thats what i heard anyway

you can have a downgrader without kernal, I think you have to make a kernal mode work im not sure how it works i just heard they forund a way round it

Until a more stable version of the downgrader comes out, I think it's best to use the eLoader (which is supposed to come out soon), bigrich. ;)

eLoader requires no downgrade. It plays homebrew straight from 2.71! :)

I'm not sure, but I haven't seen too many people complain about bricking with this exploit. The only problem seems to be based on the instability of the exploit itself and that people have had to try dozens of times to get it to work.

How would you know either your not making aswell but I can tell you 1.5 will be better because 2.71 wont support devhook. There is many more reasons but im not going to waste my time naming them all.

well i don't know about devhook but i know u 2.71 user can't have custom fw, the reason being is when u upgraded ur vshmain.prx(i think it was) is bigger than 1.5's and will probably brick ur psp...where did u read devhook would work on 2.71 via the eloader?

Well, a new eloader is out but it´s what they call the "port" version. works in usermode for fw up to 2.6 without gta. They are still hard at work though.

nope no one knows, i wonder if anyone will ever be able to force code through the usb for an unbricker though, man, that is such a taboo word, UNBRICKER, well, the fact that the flashis built to be flashed gives me as a lay user of electronics hope, but the electronic clergy may already know it is freaking impossible and ill have to get another psp or a modchip
