One of the few Wii game announcements to emerge from last week's Leipzig Games Convention was the reveal of Battalion Wars 2, the sequel to Kuju's 2005 Gamecube actioner now featuring a slew of online modes and a colourful, stylised art direction.
The sequel is set to feature three multiplayer and online modes; Assault for instant combat, Skirmish for tactical scuffles and Co-Op for battles alongside your friends. For deathmatch-purists there's also a Capture the Flag mode promised, and 5 new naval units heading for BW2's expanded unit-roster.
Battalion Wars 2 is penned for arrival on Wii sometime next year. We'll let you know how it turns out.
