Just a quick update on the PS3. It's been confirmed that the PlayStation 3 will not ship with an HDMI cable. After Sony's been talking up how they will be "true HD", and how HDMI will kick component's ass, they now decide they can't spring the $5 for an HDMI cable? Great.

wow that sucks, y not just send the hdmi cable with a speciel configuration, for like 100 more u can get hdmi cable, memory chip/card, nd a game

First they lower the clock speeds on the gpu, now this, i see many more things slipping away prior to release.

anyways im sure sony most likely will put a cable in with the more expensive version.
