Is there something I'm missing? Everytime I try to copy a file from the DS card to a save file on my supercard it comes up with a fail?

It can copy a save game from original DS game into your SLOT2 flashcard :)

No, but you can use Rudolph's NDS Backup Tool to manage saves if you'd like.
