In the vid I used only a handle for reference, the light saber is completely digital. I have a better video in which I removed most of the blade shaking, but I am having trouble uploading things at the moment. so enjoy.

thx peeps, i have a new one out, i am proud of this one. It is a lot longer, but I wanted to make a preview to see if it came out fine. here it is.

I used, as the title implies, Adobe After Effects. It is a technique known as rotoscoping, and it is very time consuming, it took me maybe an hour to make the last one and about 3 hours to make the first one.

this is pretty cool, I like to play around with movie editors some times, but I dont think i could produce something like that
