Guys,
I had both 1000 and 2000 series PSP's, both on CFW (I think the 1000 was on 5.00 M33-6 and the 2000 was on 5.50 GEN) - I say had because some bastard burgled my house and stole them both, along with some other stuff...

I got a 3000 series with the insurance money, but that is a bit crap for homebrew (using 6.20 TN-D) but not the same as being able to flash it properly!

I bought a really nice 1000 series off eBay, and it is at OFW 2.81...

My question is, what is the best way to hack it, and what is the best current (stable) firmware for a 1000 system?

All help appreciated.
Thanks,
Paul

It gets even better! I am not sure, but I think the guy I bought this off might have had a play with it in the past - no wonder it is not past 2.81!

When I try to update, I get 'The system configuration of this PSP system does not appear to be correct. Blah Blah Balh'! (DRNFFFFFFD7).
I managed to update to 2.82, but I can't get it to 3.80, or 5.03!

Any ideas?

Now got this on OFW 3.11, but it won't go any higher (3.30) - How can I get this onto CFW?

I have tried a signed Pandora creator, but this won't show on the XMB!

Done now - don't worry! On CFW m33!!!

If there is a newer, better firmware, let me know.

From there, you should be able to upgrade to 5.50 GEN-D3.

Failing that, that 6.35 PRO-B2 is pretty good... :)
