Yesterday we noted that Firefox 4 is out in the wild (http://news.slashdot.org/story/11/03/22/1628217/Firefox-4-Released). Since then, the popular browser has been downloaded 6 million times (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/8400657/Firefox-4-doubles-Internet-Explorer-9-downloads-in-first-24-hours.html), double the numbers reported for MSIE9. Now the development team is talking about a new development process (http://www.infoq.com/news/2011/03/Firefox-4) and what to expect for FF 5 and 6 (http://digitizor.com/2011/03/23/firefox-5-6/). And unsurprisingly, naysayers proclaim that IE will survive, while Firefox will die (http://www.zdnet.com/blog/bott/why-internet-explorer-will-survive-and-firefox-wont/3064).
