First in-game shots from Splinter Cell: Double Agent done Wii-style

Following hot on the heels of yesterday's news that a Wii version of Ubisoft's Splinter Cell: Double Agent will be a launch game for Nintendo's new console are first DA Wii screens. Pass mince pies over the goods, uploaded to this here page.

Double Agent finds Sam Fisher working both sides of the fence, as it were, as he infiltrates a terrorist group in an attempt to destroy it from within and stop it unleashing, er, terror on the world. "For the first time ever, experience the relentless tension and gut-wrenching dilemmas of life as a double agent. As you infiltrate a terrorist organisation in its American headquarters, you must carefully weigh the consequences of your actions. Kill too many criminals and you'll blow your cover. Hesitate too long and millions will die. Do whatever it takes to complete your mission, but get out alive", explains Ubisoft. Sounds exciting.

The publisher's spilled a few beans on how the Wii controller's unique features are being employed in Double Agent, saying that we'll be using it to "take stealth moves to a whole new level" and that "Your Wii controller is the key to mastering these tools [upgradeable weapons and gadgets] of the trade." Our cup runneth over.
