Sony is billing April as its "biggest" PlayStation Plus month yet.
One reason for this is the return of the 15 months of PlayStation Plus membership for the price of 12 months (£39.99), wrote the European PlayStation blog (http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2011/04/06/the-biggest-playstation-plus-month-yet/).
Another reason is Red Faction: Battlegrounds - the twin-stick Destruction Derby-like Red Faction spin-off - being one of April's free games.
Another reason is that this month PlayStation Plus members can exclusively join the inFamous 2 UGC beta (http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2011-03-14-infamous-2-ugc-beta-announced). Emails will be sent on 12th and 19th April.
Another reason is that today's Killzone 3 DLC - the Steel Rain pack (http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2011-04-05-killzone-3-dlc-priced-dated) - appears to be free to PS Plus members.
Another reason is that there's 75 per cent off Hothead's two Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness RPGs.
In May, PSN game Streets of Rage 2 will be free, as will be PSOne game James Pond 2: Robocod. There's also an enticing day-one 20 per cent discount for Beyond Good & Evil HD, which was fantastic on Xbox Live Arcade. (http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2011-03-03-beyond-good-and-evil-hd-review)
