Squarepusher2 proposes a new version of porting the emulator Sega Megadrive Genesis GX (EkeEke) on the PS3.
New / fixed:
- Support Custom Soundtrack - select a song / album / playlist from the Music category of the XMB. The music can be played in both the game and from the menu.
- Added support for USB headset / Bluetooth - all sounds are transmitted through the headphones.
- Added option 'Custom Scaling / Dual Shader' from SNES9x PS3 and includes the same features (shader presets, custom scaling, dual shaders, triple buffering, etc, throttle mode).
- Update to 1.5.0 Genesis Plus GX.
- Added level settings of the volume of Genesis FM / PSG.
- Added a Sega Master System mode for playing games of the Sega Master System. This mode uses the Mega Drive add-on 'Power Base Converter, which was introduced in Genesis Plus GX.
- Fixed: 2-player mode should now work
- Correction: Virtua Racing should now work
- Fixed: Truxton now works
- Fixed: The save / load SRAM should now work correctly
- Fixed the file browser and add additional features - press Start to go to the root file system
You will find packages for firmware 1.92, 3.41 and 3.55 CFW.
