Tie-up with leading trade brand as US show strengthens international appeal

A partnership has been signed between this year's E3, the world’s leading computer and video game event, and leading games trade title MCV.

The agreement is part of E3’s ever-growing reach, with its aim being to attract more accredited retailers and media from outside the US.

Published by Intent Media, MCV is Europe's leading video game trade brand.
It boasts a daily email news service, print and digital editions (including iPad and iPhone) and hugely popular website

"Across our different formats, MCV attracts a combined professional and elite gamer readership of over 265,000 a month. We are the perfect partner for E3 and very proud to be on board," commented Intent boss and MCV publisher Stuart Dinsey.

The video game expo, which is owned by the Entertainment Software Association, returns to the Los Angeles Convention Center in less than three months, running from Tuesday June 7 to Thursday June 9.
MCV will publish a special E3 edition dated June 3 that will boast additional editorial and increased distribution in both entrances to the main show halls.
There will also be extended daily show news at www.mcvuk.com (http://www.mcvuk.com/).
Thousands of industry professionals from around the world, across all sectors, are expected to convene at the show to see the latest games, try new hardware - and do business.

E3 is known for debuting cutting-edge technologies and games.
More than 250 new products were debuted and thousands more were demoed at E3 last year.
The show also identifies approaching industry trends across console, PC, mobile, social and 3D.
