Minor update may also be called the iPhone 4S

The upcoming Apple iPhone 5 may arrive later than previously suggested with delayed production meaning the device may only appear in October or November.
Last week a Reuters report (http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/04/20/apple-iphone-idUSH9E7ES05420110420) citing unnamed sources said the next-generation iPhone would ship during September however based on checks with component suppliers, Concord Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo issued a note suggesting production in August with an October or November release date.
According to Apple Insider (http://www.appleinsider.com/articles/11/04/18/mass_production_of_apples_a5__qualcomm_powered_iph one_5_rumored_for_sept_.html), Kuo also claimed that the iPhone 5 would amount to a minor update, featuring the faster dual-core A5 processor from the iPad 2 and a higher resolution 8 megapixel rear-facing camera. A move to a different vendor of radio 'baseband' chip, namely Qualcomm, was also suggested along with an improved antenna design.
TheGadgets blog claimed that an Apple source said (http://thegadgets.net/technology-news/source-apples-next-is-iphone-4s-not-iphone-5/)the phone would be called the iPhone 4S, rather than the iPhone 5, and will ship with a version of iOS 4 rather than iOS 5.
