Should keep laptop charging even though it's full?

Hi guys,
I was wondering whether should I keep my Mini laptop charging at home when I am using it (Stays at 100%) or should i wait till it's low in battery then start charging again. Will any of these do damages to my laptop battery?

I would say use the battery when it is charged up and then plug back in when low. I think leaving in plugged in all the time would make the battery last far shorter. Not good if you wish to use it for long periods away from a power source or when a put cut occurs.
