A sequel to much hyped but under-performing Xbox 360 fantasy epic Too Human could be on the cards, according to creator Denis Dyack.
The Silicon Knights president told IndustryGamers (http://www.industrygamers.com/news/silicon-knights-on-too-human-we-intend-to-finish-the-trilogy-exclusive/), "We intend to finish the trilogy but no comment beyond that... You know, there's very public litigation around that."
First announced for PSOne way back in 1999 and intended as a trilogy, the game eventually launched on Xbox 360 in 2008 to middling reviews (http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/too-human-review)and underwhelming sales.
The litigation that Dyack referred to is a long-standing complaint against Epic (http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/news200707skepic). Silicon Knights claims it compromised Too Human by failing to provide adequate game engine support, instead choosing to focus on its own titles - Gears of War and Unreal Tournament 2007
Silicon Knights is currently working on X-Men: Destiny for Activision, due for release on as yet unspecified platforms later this year.
