people hacking the site are one thing but anyone messing with me real life would be in for a shock

that said i was at work tonight when a message came over the shop asking for the owner of a pasat then i heard my reg,, my initial reaction was that some barsteward had put my window through or a car hit me. then they told me that i had left my lights on, sure enough i had and th e****er wouldnt start even with jump leads, the battery was a right bastard to get out too,

so for you drivers out there, make sure you turn your lights off

I've done that a few times, but fortunately my car beeps at me when I open the door and the car is off but the lights are on. Saved me more than once. :)

Oops, I think you need that warning system JLF65 has mentioned installed in your car. Not good for the battery to go flat on you if you're miles out from home.
