While the scene looked forward to his Ps3 said CFW 3.61, Sony gives us today the new official firmware 3.65.

Although the 3.61 OFW has not yet passed its first month of life on the official servers of PlayStation Network, it has just left to his successor, the firmware 3.65. The new version does not have much to console in terms of functionality, but rather is supposed to "improve system stability" according to the manufacturer.

By "improve system stability", they mean "we patched all the holes so we can't homebrew and jailbreak the PS3"

Sure sure, Sony. If you say so.

Game

New for 3.65: System stability during use of some PlayStation®3 format software has been improved.

New for 3.65: [Saved Data Utility (minis)] under Online Storage (Game) has been changed to [Saved Data Utility (minis/PSP)]. You can back up saved data for minis and for PSP™Game content by copying it to the PS3™ system hard disk.
Settings

Under (Power Save Settings) > (Controller Auto-Off), you can now set the PS3™ system so that paired wireless controllers will turn off after 10, 20 or 30 minutes of idle time.

This is obviously meant to work with the upcoming PSP Remaster series.
