After several weeks of waiting, Team Xecuter has unveiled its first solution for LiteOn slim blocked for writing. This solution for the LiteOn 0225, 0401 but also 9504 through a PCB replacement "flashable".

According to Team Xecuter, this type of PCB Liteon DG-16D4S is supposed to replace "easy" PCBs slim drives LiteOn 0225 and 0401 write-blocked or faulty LiteOn slim or grilled. The team suggests that these PCBs are simple to flash via Jungle Flasher using the X360 PRO USB, but also "via SATA. It would be possible to disable / enable write protection via a mechanism that is not publicly known yet.

However, it should indicate that this solution will always require some solder points to connect the cables from the former PCB on those alternatives.

Now remains the question of price. The solution proposed by Team Xecuter is available for preorder for $ 74.95 USD the room. This price decrease as and when ordered quantities to reach $ 45 a piece for over 1,000 units ordered. The availability date is said to set June 30

A solution "PRO", according to a member of Team Xecuter, should be available soon. The latter would be cheaper but will certainly be more difficult to implement.
