Yes! Finally... Nice to see a PSP game on top when it comes to commercial games. I've played the Japanese version and although I can't read Japanese, the game is really great. I'm looking forward to an English release.

Hello:

Certainly, handhelds are growing too fast in Japan. Only one console title enters the top 10. The Rest are PSP and DS titles. It's amazing that a PSP game goes to the top. Also is the only game in the top 10 for Sony's little project. Nintendo still dominates the charts with DS. Hope Wii can match those numbers in the console wars this Christmas.

Your right Emulation_Chief, portables are getting bigger and bigger (all around the world).

Ok, Japanese are crazy. If you didn't know it before, you know now. Have you seen this game? It's just another cookie-cutter Japanese RPG. Super-deformed characters, hand drawn environments, turn based combat, 1990's style Isometric towns, and semi-3D world maps! What a total waste of space!

On the other hand, how come Kingdom of Heaven never made the top selling spots? There's a fully 3D game with real-time combat, awesome Make-Your-Own Combos, pretty good story, great voice acting, and amazing graphics. True, there was a bit too much back tracking, but it was still a gripping, cutting edge, game that NEVER got the press or sales numbers it deserved!

But this crappy, old-skool SNES-ripoff title that takes the top spot! What a travesty! Out of all of the amazing PSP games, this is the one the Japanese love. It's pure MADNESS!

@MaxSMoke
Isn't Kingdom of Heaven that shitty movie? :P

You just said all the GREAT things about the game. :P

...pretty good story...
Kingdom of Heaven? (talking about the movie here, not the game, never played it) Good story? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

The classics will always take over, regardless if they're too old for the newbies. That explains why all the Mario games still outsell in the east AND the west. :P

I prefer portable gaming myself. And the PSP is the only handheld to come close to having a console gaming experience on the go. Once the PS3 and Wii come out I may shift more towards consoles again, but we'll see.
