Matthias Zauner, Ralph Windischhofer & Martina Karan have released a Video of their new excellent Homebrew project for the DS, heres the full info:

ndsvisuals (working title ...) is a system designed to loosen VJs from their stationary input devices, by equipping them with a wireless remote control - more precisely: a nintendoDS gaming console. by using all the features the nintendoDS provides (such as two screens, a touchscreen, wirless networking, ...) it enables VJs to control their visual performance from wherever they have a WLAN-connection to their notebook.
While the NintendoDS is only used as the user interface, the actual calculation of the video output is processed by a server application which is based on vvvv (vvvv.meso.net), a "multipurpose toolkit for real time video synthesis".

ndsvisuals enables you to select, playback, mix and blend your footage by drag&drop, change color and opacity, or scratch your videos by moving the NintendoDS' stylus over the touchscreen.

Besides controlling videofiles, it is possible to include own vvvv-patches as plugins into your visual performance, which then can process all NintendoDS-Inputs and therefore can be fully controlled by ndsvisuals. stylus movement can be used e.g. to rotate a 3D-scene, control speed of movement, or simply draw onto the screen, just to name a few of the possibilities.

list of functions:
display an overview of available footage as screenshots on the NintendoDS
arrange footage on three layers by drag&drop
change color/opacity of layers
blend layers by using different blend modes
scratch videofiles by moving the stylus over the touchscreen
control playback speed
include your own vvvv-patches as plugins, just by placing them into a specified directory and inserting a few special-named input nodes
control the vvvv-patches directly with the NintendoDS
combine videofiles and vvvv-patches
change the opacity of all three layers by using a 2D-crossfader
