Last I heard the DVD playback was taken out for cost reasons. IGN reported it within the last week. I guess we'll have to wait until someone hacks the Wii and makes it play DVD's. It does play some sort of video files on the photo viewer that you have on an SD card.

them and their dang turn in 50games for pre-order haha
